Responsibilities:

  • Will review customer network surveys and work directly with both sales staff and customer IT departments to schedule network installs.
  • Will review open network calls and schedule network installations and distribute them according to support level and geography.
  • Will work with customers to remotely diagnose and repair network, systems or any type of general problems over the phone and remote session.
  • Will utilize technical information from manufacturers to diagnose and resolve copying, printing and scanning issues in a networked environment over the phone.
  • Will foster excellent customer and employee communications.
  • Will provide performance feedback from Systems Engineers to Field Service Managers
  • May be asked to go onsite to assist customer with resolution of systems/network problems.
  • Establish and maintain a professional relationship with each individual customer and employee

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, 2 years of copier service or industry related experience is a plus.  Associates degree or industry certifications preferred.
  • Computer skills needed include working knowledge of the following :
    • TCP/IP
    • SMTP & POP
    • Active Directory
    • Command line tools
    • Microsoft office and Adobe software applications
  • Experience with both Windows and Mac based operating systems is a definite plus.
  • Ability to research unfamiliar topics and quickly implement solutions.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong relationship management skills with customers and personnel within the organization required.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to troubleshoot digital copiers required.
  • Strong initiative with ability to seek out relevant information prior to making timely decisions.
  • Ability to work overtime if required.
  • Must have strong ethics and work as an effective, collaborative team member.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:

  • Ability to meet deadlines and financial objectives.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites, offsite meetings, company related functions, etc. with short notice.
  • Valid driver's license and minimal level of auto insurance coverage required.
